That's the best Windows Media Player would do for me too.  Had to download a
DIVX player.  Of course that locks up every three minutes or so, but I think
it's something specific to my system.  Probably doesn't like my Voodoo 5.

It's down at the moment, unfortunately.  I'll have to reboot my computer when I
get into the office tomorrow.  But, the site is:

As of 4:30 PM March 3, (Pacific Time) Spa and Senna still coming thru
empty of content. My Winzip says it's expired, but I don't think
that's it, it was expired when Ringmasters came in. Any known problem?

I don't know.  Others have downloaded all the files just fine, so it's not a
problem with the original file.  My guess is that your download is getting
corrupted by something that's wrong with the FTP server.  I don't know what's
wrong, though.  I tried re-loading the FTP services, and it's still not
working.

Site works, but can't download the files Eldred. I'd love to see them
though.  Best of luck.

The FTP machine is different from the site itself.  That's why you can still
get to the site.  I'm about ready to re-format the damn thing...argh!

hey eldred,

if you have an old spare pc lying around at work I could help
you install Linux on it with a decent ftp server (proftpd comes
to mind), which you could map to a network share using samba on
your windoze box and copy files there by drag and drop (that
would even be possible using plain ftp services)

this should give you a reliable ftp server which can also be
remotely administered, let me know if you're interested.

cheers,

uwe

I actually *have* a Red Hat Linux box that I was using as a guinea pig.  In
fact, that's what I named it(guinea pig<g>).  I need to re-do it, just to learn
more about Linux and stuff.  Thanks for reminding me to take Red Hat CD's into
work.  I'll see what happens Monday.
