GP2 vs F1RS car setups

Haven't got F1RS yet, still waiting for it here in Oz.

People have said that the setups are different, so I'm wondering if anyone has
worked out a good way to convert favourite GP2 setups to F1RS ones?

I don't mean literal translations, but more of the car feel, eg a GP2 setup that
has slight understeer on fast corners, with slight oversteer on slow corners
what kind of changes will be needed to have the same in F1RS...

I'm planning to write a util that will do this conversion.  So if anyone has any
comments or suggestions etc please post them.

Davd,

I've had the sim a couple of weeks now and after GP2 it feels as if it
has incredible understeer. You soon get get used to it - I just find
that I need an even bigger gap between front wing and rear. I almost
depaired at first, particularly with the sensitive throttle. I'm
beginning to master it - I'm now into the 1:18s at Monaco with
absolutely no helps on at all. I'm 40 years old and just can't stop
playing the thing - what a sad bastard ;-)

>Neil,

>bet you anything you're using too much steering lock.

>Put the wings back to equal settings, and seriously reduce the lock.
>Then gradually increase it until you can get round the circuit, and
>you'll see what I mean.

>I now use 9 or 10 degrees lock for Australia.

Richard, thanks for the tip - I haven't tried it yet. I'll give it a
go.
