well after reading so many posts regarding the game i thought io would
put in my 2 cents.
First of all for those intelligent and sometimes critical comments>>I
applaud some of u and u know who you are.For those whiners out there .I
would really hate to race on a real track with ya.
I been playing the game for three weeks now and YES it took a little
work to get it running smooth.I have a PII 300 with 64 RAM and a viper
v550 card with a yamaha sound card and if i can get it running I dont
see why those with twice the systems cant.
If your system is clean and fresh its should be easy.
Secondly, correct me if im wrong or deaf but for those of you who think
the sound is crappy when was the last time u heard an F1 race. That hi
pitched scream sends chills up my spine and i get the same feeling from
the game.
You know..24 years ago we batted a square blip back and forth on our tv
sets and u know, the graphics just could have been so much better.
I feel this game recreates the feel of speed and intense racing very
well. Like anything it takes practice. If any of u jumped into a real
ferrari and took to the track in a race with 4 weeks experience I
guarantee u would be rammed off the track. So maybe the A1 is too real.
Of course it has flaws...but what doesnt. Every game i own could be
better.
If anyone out there has a million bucks then Im sure u could get the
real experience........but for 80.00......well,need i say more.
ok i will...track accuracy...gimme a break......so what....i mean ive
never raced  Japan so I dont have to make any adjustments coming out of
turn 1 and on to 2.Just race.....and try to forget that your
photographic memories have a scale model imbedded for comparison.
Well thats my story and like I said...just an opinion

I agree. And about Japan... People here totally tore up F1RS because
of a lack of elevation (especially at Japan). There is definite track
elevations in Japan now and every other track actually. People are
*STILL* complaining. I think that is quite funny.

BTW, great post.

And what ever happened to John whats-his-name? He claimed to
be a real driver that drive Japan. Why isn't he chiming in?

John Wallace?  He swoops in from time to time and drops one message then
disappears again.
