Rally Trophy plugins released!

Bugbear Entertainment and JoWood Productions announce a release of
long-awaited official plugins for 3D Studio Max.
We have been asked for these ever since the launch of Rally Trophy, and
finally a conclusion was reached to release them as a nice Christmas present
to all Rally Trophy fans.

With these plugins you can create your own cars and stages for Rally Trophy
utilizing BZF Manager and Pacenote Editor made by Fredizzimo.

You can download Rally Trophy plugins,  BZF Manager and Pacenote editor at
Bugbear Entertainment's homepage at http://www.racesimcentral.net/ and most Rally
Trophy fansites.

In the near future Bugbear will also release a set of objects such as trees,
houses etc to further help the community with track creation.

Bugbear Entertainment provides technical support on JoWood's Rally Trophy
forums at http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Bugbear's team wishes you all merry Christmas and a happy new year!

This could resurrect this underestimated game.

Yes it could.  The stages were the biggest disappointment for me. The cars
were fine, but the lack of tracks got old real quick. So a bunch of new
stages could really spark things up.

2002:

And the same to you! It's all way beyond my capabilities - I have
enough problem doing GPL tracks, and they're about the easiest around
thanks to the huge number of editor proggies - but I await Pundershaw
(36 miles) with interest! Hmmm... hillclimbs... ;-)

Great! Time to re-install the game now... (had to de-install it some time ago
because of lack of HDD space).
Hey, that VW bug on bugbear's page... is it available for download too?

Wow.. that's a legitimately cool thing for Bugbear to do! Awesome.. I've
always loved the game..

Now, someone get to making a modern-day WRC mod :)

Or, join all the stages together various orders to make new super long
stages!

I second that! The old cars kept me from buying this game. I guess I'm into
modern cars, except for older F1 cars. ;)

Time to buy this Rally Trophy!

<fingers crossed> We may have another GPL on our hands. </fingers crossed>

As far as I know, there's no real limit for the track length. Editing a
100km stage in Max will be a major pain, though :)
Number of split time points is fixed to 10, so they'll be spread out further
apart.

Probably not, given the controller issues and the non-existant
online play 8-(

I like RT a lot, but could never get it to work correctly
with my TSW set for split axis (yes, I tried all the tweaks
that the patch made possible).

Would be fun seeing some longer stages, though!

Cheers,

Uwe

Been online with it and had a blast racing Ken Kunen and others.  RT Relay
being down may be the issue.

I have a TSW Stock and have had no problems setting it up.  Not sure what
your problem is, but mine took split axis rather easily and I am not very pc
literate.

Hopefully they are on the way with the tools being released.
