Saitek R4 FF Wheel and GP3

I have two problems.  One that GP3 doesn't support buttons 5 and 6, and two
that GP3 doesn't support  the separate throttle and brake axis option in the
setup.
Does anyone know a way around this as i would at least like to user the
padles at the back of the wheel.
