Can't get XP tp recognise my Saitelk R4 FF wheel.

It's the gameport version.

Anyone managed to solve this?

Steve,

Saitek say that the wheel will not work under XP.  The only options are to
stay with 9x or buy a new wheel.  I've just taken delivery of a lovely new
R440 and it is much nicer than my old R4 which I did love at the time.

This is the biggest problem I'm finding with XP, my MS FF wheel software
won't work on XP so I've lost split axis support, and my MS PP joystick
won't work at all in one of the games I've tested it on so far, works in
other games fine though. Knowing MS they won't provide updated drivers to
fix their own hardware on their own OS. While lots of 3rd party hardware
manufacturers are updating the drivers to work on XP.
