Saitek R4 FF

Hi!
Has someone already experiences with the Saitek R4 Force Feedback
Wheel? I could get it at a local hardware retailer for roughly US$40
less than the MS Sidewinder FF wheel - is it equal to, better, or
worse than the MS wheel? I've already checked out www.force-1.com, but
couldn't find anything about the Saitek wheel there.
And is it using digital technology (like the MS wheel) or is it still
based on analogue potentiometers? I know that it's using original MS
FF technology, otherwise I wouldn't even think of buying it :)
In short: is the MS wheel worth the extra $40, or not?

TIA
Daniel

Check it out at http://www.pcme.com/hardware/r4/r4.htm.

I also talked to a guy who owns one and loves it.  I don't believe it comes
with any software however.  It is nice in that it has a stick shift +
paddles.
Here in Calgary, Ab, Canada the R4 is more expensive than the MS FF wheel!
