Sound problem in GPL

Alrighty, I had GPL installed with those great Sounds...P & T's I believe.
The one on Alison Hines page I am sure of. The real sounds from the real era
cars.

Anyhow, my computer crashed and I lost everything. When it came back and I
was able to install all the games I lost, i saw that the Pits put out a
super patch. I downloaded and installed it. I hated the sounds, so I tried
to put in the P & T' sounds again, but to no avail.

I still can't get them to work, and I hate the high pitched sounds I have
now. I want those low grumbling sounds back.

Someone please help...

Ryan
you need to clear the sound directory of all files except sound.dat.
Then unzip the P&T .wav files to \sierra\gpl\sound and rename them to
cosworth, ferrari, brmh16, weslake and repco . I still think the original
Ferrari sound (in sound.dat) is best so i don't have that one.
The Lotus and Eagle use cosworth.wav
Brabham and Honda use repco.wav
Cooper uses weslake.wav (i know this looks weird but it's right)
Ferrari uses ferrari.wav
BRM uses brmh16.wav

hope this helps
Tim
