HI all.

I'm having problem with GPL sound. When I start driving, sound start to stutter
and it really hurts my fps. Anyone had this problem? Any solution?

TNT. All latest driver.

Go to your soundcard properties and turn the Hardware
acceleration down a notch and see if that helps.
It worked for me.

Thanx for the helpDMaer, but my Sb properties doesn't have the accelertion
notch.
Could this be Glide fault?
I know glide doesn't have anything to do with sound but seems like I started
having thisproble after I got new 2.54 driver..

i have almost the same setup (minus the TNT card) Im only running the demo
but my sound is very distorted and hurts performance badly.
I use the latest drivers as well. This problem is stopping me from
purchasing the game. Any help would be appreciated.

Try stepping back to 2.53 (you can just copy the *.dll's into your GPL
directory).

I did that too. The graphic flicker is gone but the sound problem is still
there.

Ypu should have a hardware slider at the configurations menu and then
multimedia or something like that en then prefrences and there you can
change the hardware slider turn it 2 notches down it worked for me on a
ess1888 a sb pci128 and monster mx200

I have a SB64 AWE and absolutely no probs with the retail AND the demo
version. Try reinstalling the game on a previously defragged HDD.
