Graphic glitches in F1RS?

by Gerald Nun » Sun, 11 Oct 1998 04:00:00

I'm having a small problem with F1RS.  I used to have an ATI XPert 98 and
under that card all of the gravel traps would be coloured odd looking colors
like blue, red or yellow. At the time I figured it was a D3D problem.
However, I have since upgraded to a Voodoo Banshee, uninstalled F1RS and
reinstalled the 3DFx and I still get the outlandish colours on the gravel
traps. Is it just me or am I missing something obvious?

Are you talking about the traps at Melbourne or at all tracks?  They used
coloured sand and gravel at some tracks (in real life).

Marc.

Actually, I've only tried Melbourne so far.  they actually use coloured sand
in real life? Wow, you learn something new everyday.  Thanks for the info.

Download the reference drivers from 3dfx - I used to have a blue track with
MGPRS2 and GPL, but I downloaded the reference drivers and everything is picture
perfect now,
Paul
