I'm hoping you can pass this info along in r.a.s. It appears that BIX's
outbound newsfeed is broken, because none of my messages are appearing on
Deja news.
In any case, N2 does work with DSVD modems. You can't do voice-to-data
connects, but you can do data-to-voice connects. For USR modems, you just
add the appropriate AT commands to the init string, set the baud rate to
19.2K and it works. If you have a Hayes modem, you have to modify the
MODEM.CFG (?) file and set the baud rate to 38.4K to get it to work, and
this has been confirmed by a Hayes user.
