>>My friend and I just got the new US Robotics Sportster Vi 28.8 DSVD modems.
>>The DSVD (Digital Simultaneous Voice Data) modems allow you to talk and
>>send data at the same time over one phone line.  We just spent 2 hours
>>racing and talking at the same time with NASCAR!  It adds a whole new
>>dimension to the game - no more typing related crashes, you can tell each
>>other in real time about wrecks you see/cause, and maybe best of all you
>>can pass the time during yellow flags.  It seems to work smoothly, I'll
>>test it out some more and get back to this newsgroup...

>>BTW, if anyone is using these modems for DSVD during racing and has
>>questions or tips please post them...

>how much do them baby's run?

>how much do them baby's run?

I just ordered one from CDW (mailorder) for $208.00
The other person must also be using the same modem for the
voice transfer.

How much did you pay for the modem ?

Are they much more expansive than a non-DSVC US Robotics 28800 ???
