How many of you would rather race an NRO Championship race on Sunday
evenings vice Saturdays????  Please post and reply here!!!

This is one of the main reasons I have a hard time joining the
pre-formed leagues for the NRO/ online racing thru TEN. Most are
allready filled for the sunday night leagues, leaving me with the
Friday/ Saturday leagues to join. As a buissiness owner who does
travel during the week and has a family I need to spend time with on
weekends, the best days/ nights for me are sundays.

I did read your first post Jimmy, describing your problem with
saturdays, and fully agree, SATURDAYS has to be THE worst day for the
Championship race for NRO. I also read the responce from Jim Sokoloff
and must say, I dont think that there was much thought put into the
days picked for the championship if what was published in Interaction
is correct.  Hell even NASCAR can see that Sunday races gets a larger
crowd. :)

First off, the NRO will not begin ( from what has been posted here and
per the TEN homepage) until June. This puts the Championship race in
the later half of summer when most have plenty of things to do ( even
more to do if you live in the cold, snowy midwest) on weekends not to
mention the fact that Saturdays are  HEART OF THE WEEKEND!

I am not looking for any sympothy here but, 75% of my Saturdays are
allready spoken for thru out the summer months. ( Little Leauge ,
Softball, family planned day trips, reunions ETC.......) If I do join
a league and get to be one of the lucky drivers who makes it to the
Championship rounds, I will have to miss out. Sure I can try and
re-plan a few days here and there, but how do you tell your kids we
cant go to the zoo (or what ever it may be)  just because Dad has to
play a game on the computer tonight.
Granted this senerio can happen any night of the week, however I
believe it is much less likely to happen on a sunday evening when the
majority of people are home getting ready to do the work week all over
again.

If I know I will miss out on the Championship just because I can not
set aside Saturdays , then why spend the money and time in the NRO?
Hopefully we get more people who feel the same as far as Saturday
nights being PRE SET for the  Championship. After all the NRO only
will exist because of us NASCAR 2 ***s, so I would hope are input
is important to Sierra hence the reason for this post.

Again if you feel the need to spam me for this responce, fine, but I
am simply giving my own thoughts to the whole NRO concept NOW, before
it becomes a reality, at which time it will be much more difficult to
change something once it has been put into place.
