Jim, alot of N2 customers have been waiting (somewhat) patiently for
news regarding NRO and N2 patch.  I try not to get e***d when I see
posts that are not of an "official" nature, BUT the game has been out
for over a third of a year now and there are some bugs that do make
the game quite unplayable during long races.

Would you mind just giving folks a little (PLEASE) update on the status
of NRO and "The Patch".  I am not looking for an exact release date but
it really seems that Papy might be a little slow on the patch.  I
realize that the NRO is "cutting edge" technology and problems may
arise, but IMO, the patch is overdue. Is PAPY waiting to release the
patch simultaneous with NRO?  Again, I want to emphasize how much I like
N2 but wish we, as customers, wouldn't be kept "in the dark" so much!!

The ICR2 patch took almost a year ... don't sweat it!

Actually, the patch to version 1.02 was released 6-months
after the game's initial release, and for the record, the first
patch for ICR2 was released Dec 11, 1995 - less than a
month after it hit the shelves.  =)

Well if you have firm dates on the 'yellow flag bug' patch then I wont
argue with you .. seemed like more like 12 to me.   As for the 'patch'
for the paintkit skunk stripe bug ... I dont count that one .. for the
record ..
