Jim... let me ask you this.... If I were to run a race at Richmond at
night compared to day with the track conditions being the same...
would tire wear also be the same?  I guess what I'm really trying to
find out is...... is racing at night compared to racing during the day
strictly a cosmetic feature (night time scenery)?

The track.txt files for the day and night versions are identical, so it
would seem as though the tracks would behave the same.

        I ain't Jim, but my times sure are different at C***te, day and
night...

Are you running both under the same conditions (temperature and wind)?
The track.txt files are identical, so both versions should drive the
same.

Just curious, are your frame rates any difference between the day and
night race.  If so this may account for the differences you see in the
two.
