Bad FPS and then disco'd on VROC

When I conntect to races from VROc, everything until i get in the car,
then I get a massive FPS loss(1 frame per 2 or 3 seconds maybe) and then
I'm disco'd.  Anyone know whats up?  I'm on cable and back in about
March it worked fine(ok, so its been awhile).
