From my experience, it's mostly people disconnecting after they crash.
I've been caught up in many crashes in turn 1 at Monza (mind you, I'm
a slow but clean racer, which means I almost always start from the back
of the grid) and did not disconnect, only to find that I was the last
running car.
I can understand those people, though, since racing when you're 40"
behind the car in front is not too funny (especially if you don't have
100% free Internet at home).
