I like! It kicks back. Try going over 200 km/h and wobble your FF wheel
slightly from side to side. Set the low sensitive zone to a small value
to get more precise effects and you can really feel the car kicking
back (not as detailed as GPL but anyways quite OK). Also, accelerating
out of a corner is really nice. You can take the car just to the limit
and even slide a bit and correct the movement to get max acceleration.
Again, low sensitivity zone must be small. Use of accelerator isn't
just plain on/off, as it is in other modern day F1 simulators (not
including GPL). Braking has to be right on target with timing, and not
full brakes if you want to make good lap times.
Graphics is then quite the opposite. I hate! First of all the pavement
sucks big time. When dirving with low speeds it's quite OK, but when
going fast it looks like 640x480 (I run the game in 1280x1024). Same
thing with the wheels. The effect on the wheel texts (Bridgestone
Potenza) is very good, but there seems to be an ugly low-res image on
top of the ***. The use of colors is also too bright.
Just a few thoughts.
