F1 2001 help editing gdb files

I've been posting this today on various forums, for those who have missed it
here it is :

The task at hand would be to edit the game .gdb file in say FIAGT v3 mod to
get Jarama running well.

I have not a clue (other than copying info from one .gdb to the other) on
what is needed. Perhaps a tutorial was posted somewhere?
