F1RS worth it?

What is it with F1RS? I've only just brought it, I've updated it with their
patch for my DFX 2 graphics board. BUT IT KEEPS CRASHING!!!!
You cannot restart a race when things go disastrously wrong, so you go through
the time wasting task of accelerating time only for it to finish with the
result sheet locked on my screen. I then have to reboot my computer to start
windows again.
What a load of CRAP!
It even crashes back to windows at random times and during driving circuits the
screen momentarily freezes on frequent occasions. At least GP2 was STABLE!
What about some stability UBISOFT!
I'm not sure whether this is worth my time or effort!

Don't give up yet, it's an awsome sim. Have you turned off all backround
applications, screensaver, virus scan, etc.? They have been known to boot you
back to windows or freeze F1RS.

Good luck, it's worth the effort.

    Yes, don't give up just yet.  I can't help you with your problems but I
can say that it works silky smooth on my machine and I can't stop playing
it!  It's fabulous!

KERNEL UPDATE FROM MICROSOFT(helps me) or

SET  win95 SWAP FILE min128mb - max 130mb (make stable too)

Hey, I think they did pretty well bug-wise considering it's
a win95-only game.

There must be a problem with your system. It runs on my system without
any problems. Besides you CAN'T find a better F1 sim.

1. F1RS with keyboard? Is it worth it?

2. Is it worth it?-->F1rs vs GP2

3. f1rs is it worth it??

4. F1RS-worth buying?

5. F1RS Worth trying again - no more canned spins

6. MGPR2 is it worth upgrading from F1RS?

7. F1RS 2, is it worth getting it over the 1st one?

8. It`s not a "SUV"
