Intergraph Reactor Update

Just a quick bit of information for anyone who has gotten this card.  If
you are experiencing slow Windows performance (most notably slow text
scrolling) check to see what mouse cursors you are using.  For some reason
(Rendition is working on a fix now) it is extremely slow with color
cursors.  After resetting mine back to Win95's default black and white
ones, I'm getting much smoother results.

Thanks Eric... I was beginning to feel kinda stupid for spending all this
money on a machine (P166 w/32MB EDO 512pb & Reactor card) just to be able
to run Nascar2 well. The windows text scrolling was horrible! Exactly like a
486 with an ISA card. I changed from 3D pointers to Windows default and
WHAMO instant speed. Now I don't feel quite as stupid. Here's some Wintune95
benchmark results I had:

Before Reactor:

After Reactor:
800X600 256 color  = 7.2 MP/s   :-(

After changing cursor to Windows default (W/Reactor):
800X600 256 color  = 18 MP/s
1024X768 65K color  = 15-16 MP/s

Thanks again,
Mike Radler

The next driver release will fix this problem as well as increase Windows
2D speed (perhaps by as much as 25%).  The drivers are in testing now, and
should be released soon.
