How will this video card perform throughout all computer chores. Will we
see an overall
video improvement running other tasks, such as video speed. Any overall
gains no matter how slight would be welcomed.

VGA DOS speed is quite slow.  SVGA VESA resolutions are among the
fastest, just a bit slower than the ET-6000 cards.  Normal Windows 2D
speed is average.  If I had to guess, I would say about the same as an
ATI Mach64 or Diamond Stealth64.  Video playback (such as full-screen
MPEGs) is said to be very good, but I've not tested this personally.
Of course with Rendition Ready titles (like Quake and ICR2) the card
really shines.  On my P120 Quake runs at 512x384 from about 23-28 fps
(as measured with the timedemo console command).  It looks like a solid
card, even with the 1st generation Windows drivers.
