I tried to do a game to game internet connection with friend. Neither of us
are novices, but we couldn't connect with me or him hosting. Both of us are
on cable modems, I believe.
Has anyone had success connecting this way? Would anyone be willing to try,
just for a couple laps?

Relay has an auto-detect network system. It can handle
proxies/double-proxies/routers/straight-in, firewalls, etc.

Might want to give that a whirl. Just have to create the session In Relay...
buddy joins... launch the session, and everything is set for you.

Cheers,
Schumi
