New pedals for Logitech FFW?

New pedals for Logitech FFW?

by BigB » Wed, 29 Sep 1999 04:00:00

I saw on an earlier post that a guy recommended to the poster to wait and
get this wheel with the new pedals.  Does anyone know anything about this?
Best Buy is discontinuing these and I was wondering if there is a new setup
from Logitech coming out.  I would love  to have better pedals and a laptop
capable setup.

You know, Best Buy discontinued supposedly those wheels. But, when I was in
last night to pickup "The Mummy" on DVD, they had in stock more LWFF and
LWFs [never carried the later before].

So dunno...

Check it out at Best Buy... it is a yellow steering wheel on the box.. and
when I read the box, it states that the pedals have been "upgraded with
stiffer springs".

The yellow one is the "new" non-forcefeedback version.

There is a newer box for the FF model, still with the Red wheel - on
the box it showed it came with SCGT, where it originally came with
F1RS.  Whether it has any functional difference I have no idea.
