Hello players,

after installing the Microsoft Sidewinder FF-Wheel, any
Multiplayer-connection, client or host, will be disconnecting after a few
seconds. Thrustmaster without FF work 100% ok. Tried out different core.ini,
but did not work. Microsoft-Hotline did not have any idea. Who can help me?

I'm quite sure it isn't MS FF to blame, try to find reason from somewhere
else :)

What are your system spec's? There are about 10 or so guys I know and race
with that have the wheel and have no problems at all.

Are you getting around 32 or more frames per second with the FF enabled?
Perhaps the FF is loading up the CPU and affecting your connection.

Me and a friend of mine have add exactly the same problem from the day we
bought a ms ff wheel .. it's not gpl 1.1 related .. sometimes the ms ff
utility in the tray (swtray) slows down *ALL* internet tranfers including
GPL (you can see this easely with a FTP transfer or with outlook). The only
workaround i have found is to click on "suspend" in this icon, and it solves
magically the problem (and the ff still works). Unfortunatly it throw away
the pre-programmed buttons on the ms ff wheel
sorry for my bad english
PS: it the same with the latest drivers from microsoft
