Mike, you have just made my day!! After reading your post about the MSFF and
dual axis pedals I went back to read the instructions, and guess what!!!
Previously I was reasonably happy with the wheel and pedal combo, and had
read a few misleading postings saying that the MSFF couldn't support dual
axis, so I never bothered. But buried in the Profile Editor there is the box
to tick. Thanks.  One thing I don't like on the wheel is the self centering
action,  but I think it slows down the 'feel' of slides and spins to much
anyway, so keep it turned off.

This is my big handicap to fast times.
After 30 years of braking with my right foot, how the hell do I tell my
left foot to start doing it ?

Trail braking will give you an extra second (lets say).  If you are not
within 1 second of the fastest drivers, don't worry about trail-braking.

Now just braking with the left foot is different and something I carried over
from N1, N2, ICR2 ...  It allows you to brake quicker by removing the time it
takes to  move 1 foot to the brake then back to the gas.
