Recently, I begin to experience a problem in playing Nascar2.  The
graphic on the screen would freeze for just a second or two, while
everything (sound, controls, etc.) else seems to work fine.  The
graphic would fast forward to the car's current track position, as
though you are driving blind for that second or two.  This seems to be
a periodic occurrence.  It's only recently that I have this problem.

Is this problem related to system memory, graphic memory, overheated
CPU, or something else?  FYI, I have a 200MHz Pentium, running on
windows95, with 64mb ram, and a 4mb graphic card.

Any suggestion is welcome.  Thanks.

Rick

It could be releated to overheating because as a chip excedes its limited
temperator and then it'll start loosing performance. But if you want really
good performance, instead of using 2.5x 66 ratio for 166mhz or 3.0x 66 ratio
for 200mhz, you can try to improve your rates by using 2.0x 83 ratio for 166
and it will speed up your bus speed by 33mhz for your graphix card it is a
huge improvement. Also, make sure there is no microsoft plus ***working or
virus scan programs.
