GPLrank? How many drivers?

Just curious.  I'm not seeing a link to show all the drivers, so
how many drivers are there in GPLrank?

Yes, but a lot of double entries (F1, F2 and F3 entries for 1 person)

The St. Eldred Cup shows all of the tail-end of the list, which will
enable you to count the total amount of drivers.

---de-lurk mode on--
If you do a search for a single driver, the page will tell you:

"found 1 of 2500 ~ (i think) drivers in database.

There are 2861 accounts as of today, although numerous people have more
the one account for F1 and F2, it's not far off.

Considering I had the *worst* time at Mosport (just toodled around to
get a time in player.ini), I think the number is somewhere around 1900.
I made an effort to get a real time, and now my rank is a staggering
224.87 ;) (gotta do the same for Mexico and the Ring, now).
What's the Alison comment for?  Has she posted new setups, or is it the
generic "thanks" for all her setups/tools have done to help us go
faster?  Add my thanks - I only drive in an Alison Hine-tuned
Ferrari ;).

Hmm I feel better, ranked 1400 of 1700 sucks but 1400 of 2800 isn't so bad.

Hey same for me, after a few days learning GPL I clocked in at 230 with the
stock Brabham and now I'm down to 150 after changing to Alison's Ferrari and
working on the Ring.  It seems to me that the Ring is the key to getting a
better rank fast, as a small adjustment will earn you 10 seconds!

GPL had been ignored by me for about 6 months...other leagues etc.  But I
grabbed Allison's Ferrari setups and that has helped me shave over 22
seconds off my gpl times.  So it was a generic thankyou for her previous
work.

The GPVL was considering using the F2 chassis with the F3 engine.  Noone
has mentioned what to call this class allthough I like "Fdg".
F=Formula,
Next letter being the chassis,
Next letter being the engine.. For mixed classes out side of F1 w/F2 or F3
engine.

So there's
F1,
FD,
FG,
F2,
Fd1,
Fdg,
F3,
Fg1,
Fgd,

We ended up using the F3 and at this time are thinking of using the F1
or F2 chassis with the F3 engine for the slippery street courses.

No, you can't do that, it would make some sense. Why not just call them
F1
FD
FG
F2
FP
FR
F3
FT
FW

It only 4 more names to remember and this would at least make as much sense as
the FD/FG designations ;-)

For the ring and Monaco, I find Alison's Cooper an even better
tool.  More stable over curbs and grass :-).
