I read this off the Nov 98 PC gamer mag the other day and thought some people would like to know what was going on with them now:

Racers Turn Roleplayers

Blue Fang games is the name of a new development group formed by ex-members of Papyrus( those racing game guys). Adam Levesque , one
of the co- founders, will be the companys president. Levesque was the General manager of Papyrus design group. John Wheeler , the
lead tech-man on the GPL game, is the other co-founder, and will assume the role of vice president. No specific details have been
released regarding their first game, other  than the genre; it will be a racing ga...ah! Had you fooled for a second there.
Actually, it will be a role playing game.

Oh boy!!!

Last I heard, Papy had 75+ people working for them. That is what it
takes to fly first class in the sim biz. With Mike and John and the
effort of a few others (not to mention a mere fraction of Papy's
budget), I don't see how they could produce a competitive racing sim.

BTW, GPL *is* a role playing game <g>
