I have been trying to tweak out the frame rates in N4 and have been
curious about the "AGP Aperature Size" setting in the BIOS. What is
that? What should it be set to? My system is a P3-800 with 128mb ram
and a GeForce2 MX. (32mb)
Thx

64 mb should be best for you.
I have 256 mb of ram and bumped mine up to 128, but I really didn't see any
difference by doing so.

Some people do nothing wrong.
The problem is, they do nothing.
And THAT is wrong.

read the www.geforcefaq.com site about this
i found setting it to maximum helped a great deal over the 64mb setting that
is default in most bioses

And you won't. AGP aperture size is just a reserve amount and doesn't
mean it will be used. The more local memory on the vid card then the
less system ram that will be used. As you said, 64mb is a good number.
I have 256mb of ram and still only set mine to 64mb. If your vid card
only had 8 or 16mb of local memory then 128mb aperture might make a
dif.

My FIC m/b goes from 128k directly to 4M for apeture
size. Seems to work at 4M ok. 256M of ram in system.
