NasRev: Can't spin out?

Subject line says it. I was so annoyed with the front-end push
on the Nascar Revolution handling that I decided to intentionally
fishtail or spinout at Richmond (without hitting a bump or
bumping into another object first). No matter how hard I tried to
whip the tail end around the damn thing kept planted - even
with the front wheels down to 20psi and rear up to 60.

Not having seen this mentioned yet, I was wondering if this
was a common experience or not.

Thanks,
Neil M.

You can't do it.  BTW, I don't know about you but I am pretty pissed about
the kind of ***that EA
put on the store shelves.  Just one of many things wrong with this game.

Thanks for confirming that issue to both of you. I was thinking that the
claim of being a "hard core sim" was starting to sound more than a
wee bit "Novalogicky"

>Yes, it is common. Nascar Revolution is pure crap, both as a sim
>(which it is advertised to be) and as an arcade racer. Neil, you
>can either hit the wall, to spin, or you can lower the rear wing to
>minimum, set the front shocks/springs  to low and the rears to high,
>and it MIGHT spin... It is a bad, bad game and is getting *soundly(
>thrashed on the EA message board.

>Really, really, really bad.

Correct.  Unless you hit something, you can't spin out in NasRev.

It's those realistic physics, ya know.
