The wall brushing sounds and cashes are DMA sounds. Your
soundcard's DMA interupt is most likely wrong (5 or 7 in
the sound setup in ICR). If neither one works, go into your
machine's bios and chage the parallel port to another value -
if it's at 5 make it 7, and put your card on 5, or make it
5 if it's 7 and put your card on 7.
