it's WSC, GP3, N4 or some of the current games like F12K., I think that GPL
is no longer the majority over all other things. This shows that the sim
racing community IS ready to move on, and except other games as possibly the
king if they earn it.
I don't think GPL will be going anywhere, as it should be the most
challenging game for a long time (Unless someone comes out with another
ultra realistic F1 games of any era, which just don't sound like it's going
to happen, GP3 sounds pretty easy, jump in and drive comes to mind.)
I'm thinking Nascar 4 and WSC are the games that are going to make a
challenge at the crown of simulation king. Nascar 4 should by all means be
more up to date than GPL, unless papy scales back instead of forward. WSC
looks like it's right there too, but we have yet to really see. Like Earlier
said GP3 sound a bit easy, I mean Colin McRae couldn't even get around the
track (Let alone some of the F1 drivers I'll leave nameless) so we shouldn't
be able to jump right in and start making runs at Schumacher. GPL made you
earn it, so should every other sim. That's what makes it fun...
When you spin out in GPL you know it's because of your lack of ability, you
can see what and why, you can feel the reason things are happening. In
MGPRS2 it just seems like you spun out because your not very good at the
game or something....
So with that said, lets hope that r.a.s. is right, and the next games will
come along and give the same experience.
