GPL flickering video with V3 3000 after installing HalfLife

Well, GPL was working just fine with the newest patch (1.2.0.1) until
I installed Half Life again. Now when I go into GPL, the screen
flickers SEVERELY in the opening screens (the title screen, track
selection screen, etc.) The actual gameplay screen is fine, but when I
go to the replay, the replay information that is above and below the
game window flickers too. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling
the game both with and without the patch and it does the same thing. I
also have the latest drivers for my video card. This is the only game
I have this trouble with. My system config:

Voodoo3 3000 AGP
Celeron 300A oc'ed to 450Mhz
64 megs PC100 SDRAM
Abit BH6 m/b
etc and so forth.....

HELP!!!!!!

Turn off triple buffering in your 3dfx display properties.

If you have triple buffering enabled, turn it off and try again.

No, it actually had nothing to do with Half-Life. I forgot that I had
enabled triple buffering as well, and installing HL was the only thing
that I could think of that could have caused a problem. I figured
since it was a Sierra game as well, it could have overwritten a
critical file or something...my mistake!
