Hi,

Need for speed 5 PU runs fine until I want to
race. It crashes back to my desktop and nothing
further happens. Can someone help me on this one?

My system:
- SBLive 1024 (LiveWare 3)
- Annihilator Pro (nVidia reference drivers 3.68)
- Intel Copermine CPU 667Mhz
- Motherboard: Tyan s1854

Thanx in advance.

I switched to the 3.77 drivers, and it worked nicely. Some ppl might
recommend the 5.08 ones, but they don't work to well on alot of games.

Any experiences with Geforce, windows 2000 and NFS 5 ???
I'm installing 2000 this weekend, and planning to buy NFS 5 when it hits the
shelves in Denmark (March 30th)

I don't own a GeForce so I couldn't have tried it with that, but I certainly
spent about 4 hours trying to get NFS5 to work on Windows 2000 and my
Voodoo3 card.  It simply doesn't work.  The manual even states that Windows
NT and Windows 2000 are not supported.

I read a few other posts (on www.ntcompatible.com) and they have the same
problems.   It appears that EA is using some special ICD that is completely
incompatible with NT/2000.

I have since installed Win98 in a dual boot and the game runs great, and
awesomely at that.  Well worth the $30 I paid for it.

Good luck,

Where do you guys get these drivers? I still run on 3.68 from NVidia.
But i have the ASUS V6600.
I guess it will be no problem using those drivers.
But can please someone tell me where to find them?

Forget about it I have the 5.13 !! already www.planetgeforce.com
they seem te be much more stable then the 5.08 drivers and there is a
checkbox for enable/disable FSAA !!
Get them!
But i still have to try them with NFS5 !!
If it doesn't work there will be a fast response within an hour or so.
If not : IT WORKS !!
