ICR2: Rendition tracks with Full Season?

by Berry Kaise » Tue, 17 Dec 1996 04:00:00

Hi all,

Can anyone enlighten me on whether or not the five Rendition enhanced
tracks can be used during a full season? It's not a real important issue,
but I think it would be a shame if you could only use these tracks during a
single race.

Yes they can, just edit the calendar file in your ICR2 dir.  Change the
track name listed to the hq track name.
such as, Michigan to Michhq the others are elkhq, lagunahq, phoenxhq,
porthq

Berry:
There is a season.txt file, or the like, that has to be edited to
include the new tracks. Once done, they appear as they should.

Thanks for the info. Ironically, I was just editing my calendar file the
other day to include Indianapolis to the season, (upgrading from 16 to 32
ram now allows Indy with 8bit carsets!) and didn't think about changing the
Rendition tracks as well. Time to pull my head out.<G>

I assume that the full set of race tracks is available with the
Rendition version, though.  Correct?
