Maths very rule-ruled???
Jeezuz, Dave, I should ***y-well hope so.m If it weren't we;d all be in
strife!
If there is one subject which must rely on rules it's mathematics, mate! :)

Casual maths:- "Two plus two equals anything between three and five".

Sure - that'd REALLY work!! :)

(I wonder if the blokes who put together the data for the Mars mission - the
one which had the screwed-up distances - used "Casual Mathematics"?!)

Well, if you want to be pedantic, perhaps it should be
"recreations.automobiles.simulations", n'est pas?

Indeed not.
But you are still wrong.
The fact is that we only correct childrens' spoken language, but when
grammatical errors are committed in the written word - it just looks
ignorant and begs correction.
Sorry to seem pedantically churlish, but I think you'll find a written
grammatical mistake is most definitely NOT in the same error category as a
spoken one.

Actually, geeks tend to have poor language skills - which are a sub-set of
social skills.
Keep working on it, though - sooner or later, you're bound to get something
right.

In the words of Monty Python....

And the Lord spake, saying, Thou shalt count to four, no more, no less.
Four shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the
counting shall be four.  Five shalt thou not count, nor either count
thou three, excepting that thou then proceed to four.  Six is right
out.  Once the number four, being the fourth number, be reached, then
shalt thou stop as this be the correct sum

Obviously I'm not very good at this as I couldn't come up with a decent
ending to it

He has the same approach to sim racing, I'll let the other guys drive
fast, at least Herr von Henrie is consistent

That should be "n'est-ce pas" Bruce   ;)

BTW, if some native speaker writes 'should of' that definitely sounds
strange - to say the least - to the rest of us who actually had to sit
through English lessons since it wasn't our first language.

"Usenetter"
Time is my enemy.  I don't have time to sit and ponder the mysteries of
the universe.  So I let others do it for me...if that is dumb then I am.
I still have to wade thru zillions of posts and billions and billions of
threads before I get my 10 lap practice session in tonight at Malaysia for
RasF1.  (and Goy is wright...hehehe...I let other folks go fast too...)

HAAAA!
Oh dear - I remember that so well, Goy! :)

It appears that Python has an answer for everything, doesn't it? Except for
The Meaning of Life, The Universe and Everything, which was supplied by
Douglas Adams and is, as we all know, "Forty-two".
