Anyone else have problems with no spotter when using 3D sound?
Works fine with 3D off but when I turn it on I get no spotter.

BTW - I am using a new Audigy card under W2K.
I suspect it might be an Audify issue.

I've got the same problem with my Audigy card.. Think it must be the
drivers... Same thing in N3 as well.. no spotter voice..

I'm using XP by the way..

New card, new drivers, new OS.....NEW PROBLEMS!  Iain are you seeing
this???   :)
When is an Upgrade NOT an upgrade?  When the dang thing doesn't work.  ( I
know this sounds like a broken record, cripes by the sound of my posts we
should all go back to win95 and Voodoo 1's.  But....)
I just have one question for Schooner and TSR....
Did everything work before you upgraded?  (ok two questions)  WHy did you
upgrade..what what it that XPee or Audiboy had that got you guys purchasing
stuff that just doesn't work yet?????????

I'm running W2K which is stable as hell.  I got an Audigy because most all
the reviews were good and since my SBLive was stable I figured the Audigy
would be.  Some of us like to upgrade, I typically don't run beta OSs but
hardware that has been on the shelf for a month should be in a working state
but I guess not.

Leaked Beta Drivers for Audigy fix the 3D sound issue as well as a lot of
other Audigy issues, at least so far anyway.

glad to hear it's working.  As to your previous post.  A month is often
just a dream when trying to get new drivers to work with new hardware and
new os's.  Hope it stays stable...how does the Audi sound btw?

Yes, I know all too well that a month isn't very long, just wishful thinking
I guess.  I'm a software developer by trade and it's very common in this
industry to rush things to market.  buyer beware.  If you don't like to
tweak all day them buy year old+ technology.
