N4: adjusting spotter, make him quicker?

N4: adjusting spotter, make him quicker?

The spotter in N4 seems to be just a tad late on calling somebody coming up on
the inside.  Is there any way to adjust this, to make him quicker?  The spotter
seemed just a little quicker in N3.

In N3 the spotters reactions were dependant on your mirror settings: the
wider the mirror, the "earlier" the call.  I wonder if N4 is the same way...
