Toca and 3DFX ?????? Help

I have downloaded your patch, and I do not believe that I am getting native
3dfx support. I am using device 2 in the graphic set up window but I still
do not get the spinning 3dfx logo, and the game does not look any different
than before the patch.

I have read in news group RAS that there is an alternative .EXE file which
allows 3dfx, is this true?

If not what am I doing wrong?
