     Correct me if I"m wrong, but here's another angle.

-Maybe it is NOT Papyrus who has their hands tied.

-Maybe it is DAYTONA SPEEDWAY who erroneously signed a contract
with Sega that binds them from licensing their racetrack to any other game
company.

I agree totally.  SEGA is holding DIS to this contract and killing the Papy
customers with it.  I mean when DIS went into dealings with SEGA im sure they
expected more than that crappy arcade game that doesnt even have a true Daytona
track in it.  Why eles would they employ Papy to A.) Make the Top Qualifier
game for the Daytona USA museum and B.) make a track for an N3 demo given away
with programs AND sold at the gift shop?  Seems a bit fishy to me.

The Daytona/Sega deal expired 12/31/99. Sega no longer holds
the licensing. Daytona does.
