Just a fair warning.. It's a really good FF wheel, but it's just not
built very well... Had it for a year, I am on my 2nd set of pedal
springs and yesterday the paddle broke too...Enough !!
(imagine F12000 shifting with a gear shift, yuck ;-)

Just passing info....

So I guess you'll have to play something like Nascar3, NFS Porsche or GPL
for a while...
(imagine NASCAR3 shifting with a paddle, gulp ;-)

Have mine for over a year, all I had to do is to change the pots, and the squashball modification. Still works
like a charm. What exactly did you do with your paddle to _break_ it?:)

Same here

Had mine for nearly a year.

Really pleased with the wheel. Pedals not as good as my old T2, but I'm used
to them now.

If you're going to replace it, get the ACT LABS wheel.  That thing is
built like a rock.  They have a really solid reputation for quality.

the squashball modification. Still works
it?:)

Ehh, take a wild guess... I downshifted ;-) not even that hard either.
I have since opened it up and and epoxied it, and it broke again a day
later, so I guess a repair is out of the question. Never mind, this
thing is cursed. Yesterday, a friend of mine visited and his baby
pulled on the pedal connector and ripped it out ( I had to resolder
that ;-)   Still, no paddle = no fun....

The problem is I cannot think of a suitable replacement that improves
things enough to justify the $$$ (heavier pedals, more FF power, more
options, USB).. The FF is nicely done (paddles + shifter), just not
made very stong.

Greg.
