N2 wheel problems, help!

Yes I know N2 and not N99...frankly I dont have the time nor $$ to get N99
at the moment.  My delima is I own a RS Wheel.  And I go through the PDPI L4
with the cartridge for the RS.  I switch it to DOS mode and I run N2 (in
windows).  It will read the wheel at first while trying to calibrate it.
Though after I get it close to the middle it all goes to the far left and is
set to -1.  Why is it doing this?

do you have the switch on the L4 set to analog?
