HELP! No Wheel in N2:Multiplayer (Kali)

Please HELP!

My buddy just bought a Thrustmaster Grand Prix wheel setup and can't
get it to work in Multiplayer mode playing N2. Seems to work fine in
single player. But when running Kali95 and N2 in Multiplayer, the game
defaults back to keyboard controls. What's the deal, any insight out
there?? This is a P200 system, Matrox Millenium graphics card. Please
help....
