Help with Steering Wheel in N2

Howdy. I've bought the T2 wheel three times, and returned it the first
two times. The reason I have always returned it is because even after
a week, my times with the joystick are better. I seems to have better
control.

Now after having the wheel for a couple months.....  I find the same
thing. Controlling the turning is terrible.

However, today I tried clicking on the option to make it steer like a
'joystick/keyboard' instead of a 'wheel.'

Wow, what a great improvement!

Is there anyone else out there who uses the T2 wheel, but with the
joystick setting?

For those that use is as is should be, how do you control the car? I
seem to be all over the track.

Any and all insights and opinions on this topic would be helpful.

Hey Kirk,
Try reducing wheel lock to 6-7 degrees.

The new T2's should be configured as a joystick.

I have also been using the T2 for a few weeks now, and was wondering
something about the pedals:

If I get to a certain RPM, I can then take both feet off the pedals, and I
will stay at that RPM.  Wouldn't it make sense...like a real car, to have to
have your foot on the gas at all times to maintain a given RPM/speed?

It is not meant to be like that. My homebuilt pedals work as
one would expect. Get of the gas pedal and the RPM starts to
drop. Possibly your pedal is sticking. Are you running from
WIN 95 or DOS. WIN 95 tends to cause trouble with T2 at times.

Take care

I'm using a T2 and have never experienced this. Do you have to use the
brake and accelerator at the same time and of so what rpm or speed do you
maintain?
