The Grand Prix doesn't have pedals which seems odd.
I know I couldn't stand driving with just my hands.

SBeshear,
The Thrustmaster Grand Prix 1 is a great wheel for the price. I
actually prefer it to their other wheels as it allows me to use the
paddles instead of floor pedels. My desk is pretty cramped underneath
with the subwoofer and whatnot. I swear by mine. I got mine for such a
good price I went down and bought a second one to keep as a spare.
There's my two cents, all the best, Mike Davis

I would reccomend the Thrustmaster T2 or NASCAR PRO

It's probably the best choice unless you want to build your own or spend
700 dollars

I have the Nascar Pro wheel.  It feels good. As long as the pedals dont
slide, and the wheel is mounted well.  Havent had any problems, other
than the wheel being a bit small.  I've played with the T2, and by
comparison, it felt real cheap.
