Ok folks, I just did a few minutes practice with the truck.

It was a mind-numbing experience!

Leave the pit, mash the gas, and go around the track topped out at 182mph.

The draft is HUGE here with these trucks.  There is a 14mph difference!

So in this weekends race, if you lose the draft, you ARE toast :)

Frankly, the trucks at this track with the Expert setup is a zero-challange.
You'll see what I mean :)

I just did a race against the AI. What a bore. I think I'll need to have a
big keg of beer setup for this race. Why don't we up the wear level to 3x?
it might be more interesting.  Are we running yellows also? That could
induce terminal boredom.
Gee, almost lke the real thing, hehe  ;-)

You know, that isn't a bad idea.  Forcing more pitting might bring some
interest in to it.

We cant just start using special rules on certain tracks.  The season is
about to begin and at least for the Trucks it will be 1X wear.  Trust me
most will get lots of pits in during a 50% race.  Trans Am may be 2X but
we'll let you know for sure in a couple weeks.

For some reason I don't think it's going to be nearly as boring as you seem
to think.  As on any plate track if you lose the draft the fun factor drops
like an anchor, but overall this should be a two wide romp with lots of
passing.  Our main goal should be to avoid "the big one".  We'll see :-)

I havn't ran the trucks at this track yet but coulda predicted it.
Actually the trucks at places like Texas and Atlanta are pretty boring
as well... like running restrictor plate races at non-plate tracks.

Yeah, but at least Texas and Atlanta aren't quite like riding a tricycle on
the Bonneville Salt Flats :)

Ok - dumb question.  Are the CTS and T/A both available from PWF?  I'll have to
admit that I ignored most of those 'mods' discussions...

This from the guy with the negative rank ;)

Actually I was plesently surprised in the warm up race, I was battling
for the lead at one point.   It was quickly back to reality in the
real event though where I was battling to keep the draft in sight.
