Dashboard in NFS3 - Howto?

Aloha all,

Just got a Voodoo3, (I know that's not on the cutting edge, but that makes
me bleed too much...) it came bundled with NFS3. However I don't see any way
to select the dashboard when "driving" with the in car view.  Anyone know
the way?
