Go to www.nd4spd.com and take the poll! There will be no dashboard in the
PSX version, but there is still a chance with the PC! Let them know how you
feel!

What I really want to know about is the tracks. Are they going to
listen to the users and give us back the non-circuit tracks from NFS1?
Or are they going to***it up again? Apparently the PSX version
will only have circuit tracks, which is a very bad sign.

The tracks in NFS2 are great, to me, but if they were all like Outback,
they'd be better. A lot of longs stretches and a few turns. Mystic Peaks
makes you slow down too much, and Proving Grounds are all right, but round
and round isn't that Mt fun. Everything in between is great.

I thought the tracks were god-awful. It's supposed to be the need for
SPEED, and yet only two or three of the tracks are actually made of
ashphalt. Most are "wierd fantasy rally tracks". A bad joke, really.
A lot of people must have agreed with me, because even the stubborn EA
has decided to make more realistic tracks for NFS3.

After NFS-SE, there was a poll on ea's web site about features for future
versions of NFS.
I filled it out reflecting my wish for staged tracks, cops, smarter AI,
car model etc.
All the things we have been clamoring for ever since the first NFS.
Along with this, EA had a huge wishlist of "wanted" features for future
versions gathered by some of the NFS fan sites.
They didn't listen to any of these suggestions, instead they gave us the
braindead NFS2, we complained more after that, so what do they give us?
NFS2-SE, more braindead features with a slick paintjob....
Really I hope some other software company sees what an opportunity they
have here to put out a successful racing game with decent driving model,
dashboard, cops, smart AI, staged courses etc. All features that were available
on my C-64 and Amiga500 with Test Drive 2 back in 1989.
It's obvious that EA thinks they can give PC gamers the same crappy arcade
racers that sell well for console machines, I have quit hoping for them
to wake up and smell the coffee, too many disappointments.
Cheers.

This seems to be a problem at a lot of these development companies.
