Someone on VROC just told me you can drive the medical and safety cars
in F1 2001, each with their own physics :)
I haven't tried it myself yet, at work atm, but here's how to do it:

Open your player file and change each vehicle class to

PR_Vehicle_Classes="AND: FormulaOne OpenWheel 2001 OR: DSItaly OR:
DSSpain OR: DSUnitedStates OR: DSFrance OR: DSJapan OR: DSGermany OR:
DSGreatbritain"

-except- the CH class.

Apparently you earn these cars when you finish the driving school
succesfully.
